Kite Girls – a letter to my pre-Tween Daughter
Pre-tween girls are kind of magical. This year I’ve embraced my daughter joining this daring phase of contradictions. She is both brave and timid, equal parts fierce and tender. Each year I write her a birthday letter. It was spawned by the once a year letter to her birth mother that was always so emotional to write.
